Eagle Nest, Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada

This beautiful crafted nest sits high above the Millennium walking trail in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada.  How glorious to see these magnificent creatures tending their fledglings.  In the first photo, you see mom (or dad?) keeping watch over the nest.  In the second photo, just right of the left vertical pole, you can see a fledgling.  He/she is tough to see thanks to their camouflage feathers.  There were three fledglings in the nest.  We stopped several times and only saw their heads once.
